Cloudmark Server Edition communicates with the Microsoft Exchange Server through Microsoft s standard Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI). It receives notifications when messages arrive, then checks the messages and performs preconfigured actions on messages that are spam, phishing, or viruses. email account
