Reading Email Cross Harbor is the same firm that city officials attempted to shut down in January after claiming it was illegally storing sludge and solid waste. Four months later, the firm filed a $10 million lawsuit against the city, saying the city's claims were false and defamatory.
Storing Email In other matters, the council quizzed the city's grants manager, Larry Bimbry, about a host of matters including how the city is to pay the bond debt for construction of the Martin Luther King Drive Community Center, which cost $5 million to build.
Email Software Responding to questions from Councilman Mariano Vega, Bimbry said his office is still reviewing the number of leases that have been negotiated with various agencies and firms to rent space in the building that can provide funds to defray the bonding costs and operating expenses for the facility.
Antispam Software Jersey City Economic Development Director Gene Nelson asked the council to adopt a resolution allowing his office to apply for a $4 million state grant to purchase security cameras for a number of locations throughout the city, including Journal Square, McGinley Square, Central Avenue and the Martin Luther King Drive Shopping Plaza.
Fight Spam Nelson said he can rewrite the resolution to include additional sites several council members said they would like to see covered by surveillance cameras.
